今天千呼万唤始出来的WordPress 2.2 正式版终于放出。

显著变化如下：

1, Atom feeds updated to Atom 1.0
2, Preliminary support for Atom Publishing Protocol
3, Widgets are now supported in core
4, Protection against activating broken plugins
5, “Deactivate All Plugins” button. Sadly, my “Reactivate All Plugins” patch didn’t make it into this release. Hopefully you’ll see it in WP 2.3.
6, Improvements to comment management
7, Code optimizations and speedups
8, Future WYSIWYG support for the Safari browser
9, Post Preview moved into a popup window, rather than an iframe on the Write page
10, WordPress-specific XML-RPC API
11, JQuery support

Update

点点游已经放出了简体中文版，我的两个blog也已经全部升级完毕，一路顺利。
升级要点：FTP重新上传文件，但注意几个核心文件的可靠性，上传完毕访问管理后台，会提示要升级数据库，自动升级完成后即告成功。
重要：升级之前注意备份数据。
